http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/5390848.stm this bill practically suspends habeas corpus. it bans torture, but allows the president to “define” torture. and it allows the president to determine who deserves enemy combatant status without giving a reason. my. god. the republican party might as well wipe their collective asses with the bill of rights.
